To point your domain to your hosting account, you need to update its nameservers. Follow these steps:
- Log in to your domain registrar's control panel (the company where you purchased your domain).
- Find the domain management section and select the domain you want to update.
- Look for an option labeled "Nameservers", "DNS Management", or "Custom DNS".
- Replace the existing nameservers with the ones provided by HostPro (usually sent in your welcome email). They typically look like this:
ns1.hostpro.apartner.prons2.hostpro.apartner.pro
- Save your changes.
Note: DNS changes can take anywhere from a few hours up to 48 hours to fully propagate across the internet. During this time, your website may not be accessible to everyone.
