Staging allows you to test changes on a clone of your site before making them live. At HostPro, this is easily done via Softaculous:
- Login to cPanel and open Softaculous.
- Click on the Installations icon (top right).
- Find your WordPress installation and click the "Create Staging" icon (looks like two papers).
- Choose the staging URL (e.g.,
staging.yourdomain.com). - Click "Create Staging".
- Make your changes on the staging site. Once satisfied, go back to Softaculous and click "Push to Live" next to the staging installation.
This ensures your live site stays functional while you experiment with new features or designs.
